Editorial policy

Four rules govern every page here.

Sources are read before they are cited. Every external claim on the safety pages traces to a source we opened and read in full, listed with its read date on the sources page. We write the sentence from the source, never fish for a source to fit a sentence.

Specifications are data, not copy. Load ratings, dimensions and mattress sizes are reproduced exactly as the maker states them. Where arithmetic of ours is involved (the space figures, the ceiling-fit results) the page shows the working so you can redo it.

No invented people, no invented history. This site has no fictional team photos and claims no founding story. The brand speaks through its catalogue and its numbers.

Corrections are public. When a reader shows us a wrong figure, we fix the page and the fix ships with the next dated update. Mail about errors is answered first.
