US mattress sizes
The frames on this site take standard US mattress sizes. The table is the standard; the counts are this catalogue’s.

Twin dominates because lofts and bunks are overwhelmingly twin platforms: the elevated deck wants the lightest, narrowest mattress that sleeps one. The queen and king counts live almost entirely in the platform and farmhouse frames.
Two practical notes. Twin and Twin XL differ only in length, and a Twin XL mattress on a Twin frame overhangs the deck by five inches, which defeats the guardrail; match the letter exactly. And on any elevated deck the height limit from the mattress fit page matters more than the footprint.
